Hong Kong is by the ocean with many islands. Ferries are an essential part of transportation. One day I took the ferry with a friend on a lovely Saturday afternoon. We had a goal to hike up the Peak. So we took the ferry and then the subway and walked and walked. Ok so a hike in Hong Kong means you walk on concrete. haha There are no dirt paths in Hong Kong. The idea of hiking is more like walking. After we got off the ferry there is a fish market where you can buy all sorts of sea food that is still alive. This woman was sitting hoping I'd buy her scallops and shrimp.
I started this blog for when I was teaching in China. Then I moved to Hong Kong and taught second grade for five years. After seven years in Asia, it was time for me to return to my country. These are my adventures of living, working and repatriating myself.
