I started this blog for when I was teaching in China. Then I moved to Hong Kong and taught second grade for five years. After seven years in Asia, it was time for me to return to my country. These are my adventures of living, working and repatriating myself.

The Walled City
Here are some typical local Hong Kong shots near the area I live. Kowloon City is where the Walled City is and was. Back in the 70's there were many blocks of tight buildings together where there were alot of gangs and drug dealers. It was basically the ghetto. The Brittish government didn't even want to govern that area of Kowloon and left it to itself. God spoke to one woman's heart to come to Hong Kong and reach out to the people of the Walled City. Through her prayers and witness to the people of this city, people left their life of drugs and gangs. Today the Walled City is a beautiful park and a symbol of what once was and how one person can create change for the good.
